- my jeep currently has a Dana 30 in the front coupled toghter with an Aussie locker "this thing works great" In the rear I have a dana 44 with a Auburn ECTED electric locker so basically I can climb like a mounitain goat. Both axels our stuffed with 4.88 yukon gears which I installed myself which is a whole lot of work. I have a 4" Tuff Country lift and a home made 1 1/4" body lift. I don't recomend a body lift but a good way to get your drive line in the correct angles you do a 1" body lift with a 1" motor mount lift which I did using a JKS system. I have 35 X 12.50 Mickey Thompson MTZ's. To help with the power I have installed a K&N cold air intake that added about 10 horsepower, I then had to replace to replace my header the new one is suppose to add about 12 horsepower, I also added a flowmaster muffler that should add some power but I almost think it took some away. I am now making bumpers for jeeps in my spare time, I will also be making other parts.
